Tottenham Hotspur’s reported interest in Paulo Dybala continues to rumble on this weekend.

Earlier in the week, it was reported by the London Evening Standard that Tottenham were ready to make a move for the Juventus attacker. Mauricio Pochettino is known to be a big fan of the player, who is open to leaving Turin this summer.

Since then, it has been reported that Tottenham have had an initial bid for the player rejected. As reported by La Stampa, an initial approach of £45 million was made for the Argentine.

But the most recent reports in Italy are suggesting Tottenham are well short of Juve’s asking price. Tuttosport are claiming that Dybala is valued at €100 million (£90 million). That suggests Tottenham need to double their current bid for the player if they are to have any chance of getting a deal done. While the report claims Dybala is open to joining Spurs, financially it looks a tall order.

It was initially reported that he might set Tottenham back £80 million, that fee now seems to have become inflated.

Tottenham will not want to pay £90 million for the player this summer. Therefore, this latest report will undoubtedly have Tottenham fans concerned that their dream arrival may not happen.
