Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle are listed by Sport amongst the clubs who could sign Gareth Bale this summer, while it is even suggested that he could end up at Ibrox with Rangers.
Bale is set to be a free agent in the summer after a turbulent time at Real Madrid. He has come in for a lot of criticism during his time in Spain. But there is absolutely no doubt that he has enjoyed an incredible career.

There has been speculation that he may retire. But with Wales still in with a chance of going to the World Cup, it is hard to see the forward making a decision to not carry on next year anytime soon.
He reminded everyone just how special he remains during the last international break. And it seems that there are indeed a host of teams who could be monitoring his situation.

Previously, reports claimed that Tottenham had already agreed a pre-contract deal with the 32-year-old. However, it would appear that those reports may have been premature.
Sport has listed a host of clubs Bale could join this summer. And they suggest that Tottenham, Newcastle and Rangers are amongst the contenders.
Spurs or Newcastle move much more likely for Bale than Rangers
The Rangers links are surprising. However, few would have believed that the Gers would have any chance of signing Aaron Ramsey on loan in January.
Obviously, this is different as Bale would be a free agent. So there would not be another club for the Gers to share the burden of his wages with. Therefore, you would imagine that a Premier League return for the ‘amazing‘ Welshman is much more likely.
He has an emotional connection to Tottenham, with two spells under his belt already. But Newcastle would surely love to sign such a massive name without having to part with a transfer fee.
