Leeds United are looking for a more experienced left-back than Liverpool youngster Yasser Larouci this summer, according to a report from The Athletic.
Despite barely playing for the Reds first-team, Larouci is a name that many Leeds fans will already be well aware of.

The Liverpool Echo reported last year that talks with the Premier League champions over a potential move had been held. Of course, no move would take place.
However, it appeared that Leeds had not taken the 20-year-old off their radar. The Sunday Mirror (14/3; page 69) reported at the weekend that he was a potential target for this summer.
The Whites will surely strengthen their left-back options in the coming months. Stuart Dallas and Gjanni Alioski have shared the responsibility this term.

Dallas, in particular, has done well in the role. However, you could understand why Marcelo Bielsa may feel that a specialised left-back is needed.
But it would appear that that player may not be Larouci.
The Athletic has suggested that Leeds are looking for a more experienced option to fill that void.
Of course, that may not rule out a move for the Algerian altogether. But with prospects such as Leif Davis and Niall Huggins coming through, Leeds may feel that they do not need him as a younger understudy for a fellow new signing either.
The Athletic’s report notes that Larouci is set to leave Liverpool this summer. But it would seem that he is unlikely to end up at Elland Road.
