Leeds United do not have any interest in either Claudio Bravo or Mauricio Isla, according to reports in the pair’s Chilean homeland.
Both players have previously been favourites of Marcelo Bielsa’s during his time at Chile boss and are set to be available as free agents this summer.
However, La Cuarta has spoken to a source at Leeds who confirmed that there is presently no interest in bringing either veteran to the club.
Bravo is not considered necessary, with Leeds currently well-stocked in the goalkeeping position. Isla, it seems, is simply not being considered.
The same report suggests they have been informed that Leeds’ current focus is on bringing in players based in the domestic game, which could be the reason behind their being no interest in Isla.
Leeds United fans have seen plenty of names being linked with the club since they confirmed their place back in the Premier League next season.
However, plenty of those links have been taken with a pinch of salt, including the ones with Bravo and Isla.
Leeds United fans will not be overly disappointed to hear that there is potentially no interest in the Chilean duo, with the Whites looking to bring in younger and cheaper options this summer.
