Despite a lukewarm start to life at his new club, Everton midfielder Fabian Delph could be recalled to the England squad.
That is according to a report from the Daily Mail. They report that Chelsea youngster’s Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori are set to be included in the England squad for the upcoming games with the Czech Republic and Bulgaria.

The report also claims that Delph is in line for a recall after missing last month’s fixtures through injury.
TBR’s View
Delph is a popular figure in the England camp, with Gareth Southgate previously handing him the captaincy.
He can also play in a number of positions and is something of a leader in the dressing room.
However, based on his form so far this season, it would not be a fair selection. Delph has been lukewarm since his reported (The Independent) £8.5 million move from Manchester City in the summer.
It is not clear who England would drop from the current set-up to make room for the Everton player and Toffees’ supporters might be hoping that Delph stays behind and takes a break so he can continue to work on his fitness.
If he does get the call, there will be plenty of Englishmen wondering why they missed out.
