Everton are being linked with a move for Barcelona winger Malcom. As reported by AS, the winger is being offered to clubs around Europe as Barcelona look to cut him from their squad.
The Liverpool Echo has since reported that Everton ‘could be in the conversation’ regarding a deal for the Brazilian this summer. It was more of a speculative comment than a confirmation of interest. But should Everton be in the conversation?
Last summer, Malcom was linked with a move to Everton.
As reported by Sky Sports, Everton were set to discuss a £30m deal plus add-ons with Bordeaux chairman Stephane Martin last July. A deal worth £80k-a-week was set to be discussed.

However, the next morning, the Liverpool Echo made it clear that there was no interest from Everton. Instead, Everton were focusing their attention on signing Richarlison from Watford, which they did.
Malcom eventually joined Barcelona in a deal reportedly worth £36.5 million, according to The Guardian.
But this summer could be the perfect time to strike. Barcelona clearly want Malcom gone and Everton are lacking in the wide positions.
The Toffees have also done good business with Barcelona before, snapping up both Lucas Digne and Andre Gomes from the Catalans.
Now might be the perfect time to strike and bring in a top winger to Goodison Park.
