Arsenal have been linked with a move for Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake.
According to The Telegraph, the Gunners are considering a move for the Cherries star, with Calum Chambers having been ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.

Ake first joined the south coast club on loan in June 2016.
He was recalled by Chelsea in January 2017 for the remainder of the season, and then joined Bournemouth for £20 million in the summer (BBC Sport).
Ake has proven to be a great signing for the club, and his form has led to speculation he could soon leave.

It is thought Chelsea have a £40 million agreement in place to re-sign him, but Arsenal could challenge.
The Telegraph add Arsenal may have a trump card to play in the shape of David Luiz, who is good friends with Ake from their time at Stamford Bridge together.
Apparently the Brazilian used to invite him to fancy dress parties, and really rates him as a player.
TBR’s view – Arsenal move unlikely
Luiz and Ake may have a solid friendship, but one has to imagine it’s Chelsea who are strong favourites to sign the Dutch international.

The Blues should have cash to burn having been operating under a transfer ban last summer, and maybe they’ll see good value in their supposed £40 million re-sign option.
Arsenal may have to look elsewhere for a cheaper option – Jerome Boateng is currently being linked with a move to the Emirates (Sky Sports).
