There are growing fears that Tottenham Hotspur’s recent struggles could see them lose star striker Harry Kane.
The club’s recent failure in the Champions League and poor performances in the Premier League suggests they may not be in Europe’s premier competition next season.
The London Evening Standard recently reported that Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward was relishing the chance to try and sign the England striker this summer.
Of course, Tottenham fans are likely not terrified of a Kane exit.
The striker clearly loves the club and Tottenham would likely ask for an astronomical transfer fee for his services.
However, a report from October 2017 might have some Tottenham fans worried.

The Times were reporting about Kane’s potential transfer value, with Real Madrid reportedly interested. They suggested a fee of over £200 million would need to be paid for any deal to go ahead.
But the report also suggested when Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy might consider selling Kane. The report claimed no exit would be done until Tottenham had spent at least one year at their new stadium, with Kane key to commercial revenue during the period in which Tottenham were groundless.
Well, that one-year anniversary is coming up fast. Tottenham played their first game at the new ground on the 3rd April 2019 and that would mean Levy’s previous position re Kane’s potential sale would come into force in three weeks’ time.
With Tottenham also set to lose out on Champions League revenue the stars might just be aligning, unfortunately for Spurs fans, for Kane to make an exit.
