West Bromwich Albion target Mbaye Diagne has reportedly completed his medical in Turkey ahead of his loan move to The Hawthorns, according to Sky Sports.
The 29-year-old Galatasaray striker is waiting to receive a work permit ahead of flying to England to complete a move on an initial loan with an option to buy, adds the outlet.
According to Turkish outlets Takvim and Fotomac, citing DHA, West Brom will pay Galatasaray a loan fee of €800,000 (around £700,000) for Diagne.

In addition, the player’s agent has confirmed that the Senegal international is on his way to The Hawthorns, giving more details about the move.
“West Bromwich Albion gave him a continuous play guarantee,” Diagne’s agent told Haber7, cited by Goal.com.
“He’s actually happy in Galatasaray, but he agreed because he thought he could take more time there.
“Diagne is going to England. Correspondence has been done; this is done. He is going on loan, but there is a mandatory purchase option.
“It is a great transfer for Galatasaray because I think Diagne does not fit into [Galatasaray manager] Fatih Terim’s system.”
The Senegal international has been superb for the Turkish giants this season, with 11 goals in 19 appearances in all competitions, including nine in 15 Superlig games.
TBR View:
As well as shining at Galatasaray, Diagne did superbly at Kasimpasa, and is on 54 goals from just 75 competitive appearances between both clubs.
The 6ft 4in ace, contracted to Galatasaray until 2023, also spent time playing for Belgium’s Club Brugge on loan last year, featuring for them in the Champions League.
As per Sky Sports, he has been playing as a lone centre-forward and is a sizeable presence up front, a very good finisher and has also shown an ability to drop deeper and link up play.
With the move all-but done, it looks as though Sam Allardyce has finally got his man, and hopefully he’ll get the goals to keep the Baggies up.
