Newcastle United goalkeeper Martin Dubravka is reportedly one of the players at St James’ Park in line for a new contract and it’s vital talks are successful.
According to the Chronicle, the Magpies want to reward the 30-year-old for his importance and could enter discussions about a new deal.
It is understood that Isaac Hayden, Matt Ritchie and Jonjo Shelvey could have contract talks, as their deals expire in 2021.
The report details Dubravka has interest elsewhere and the club will hold talks with his representatives when the transfer window shuts.
The Daily Mail previously reported that Tottenham, Aston Villa, Manchester United and Monaco have shown an interest in the shot-stopper.
It is understood that he is valued around £12million and the departure of Rafael Benitez has unsettled him.

Newcastle are now getting used to life under new boss Steve Bruce and as it stands Dubravka will remain the club’s number one at the beginning of the season.
The Slovakia international cost the North-East club just £4million (Sun) to sign on a permanent basis and he’s turned out to be a bargain.
He’s an imposing figure in goal that controls his box and is dependable, while he played a key role in top-flight survival last season.
Bruce has to ensure that talks with Dubravka go smoothly and he commits his future at St James’ Park.
It would be extremely difficult to replace someone of his level and he’s been one of the outstanding individuals since he joined the club.
