Spurs could now be willing to accept a bid from Manchester City for Harry Kane this summer, as long as it meets a strict set of criteria for Daniel Levy.
It’s been widely reported that Spurs have rejected a £100m bid for Kane from City already. Claims of a £150m figure being needed have been doing the rounds, too.
However, The Express now claims that Spurs are softening in their stance when it comes to Kane. They claim that a bid with another £20m on top could do the trick for City. But crucially, that £120m needs to include a series of performance-related add-ons for the future.

That, in essence, could take the eventual fee up to the £140-50m mark, but would also decrease the initial outlay from City.
It’s believed Spurs are becoming more receptive to the idea of getting money in the bank and reinvesting. After adding Cristian Romero this week, Fabio Paratici is looking for even more new additions.
A case of when and not if?
These reports are some of the first to come out to suggest a deal might be possible here. City have just splashed out on Jack Grealish, so it remains to be seen if they’re willing to go to three figures again.
But, Pep Guardiola does need that forward player. With Aguero gone, we saw yesterday in the Community Shield that there is a gaping hole for Kane to fill.
With City now given encouragement from Spurs with this report, expect this to rumble on further and, who knows, we could see a deal done.
