Tottenham Hotspur are one of the Premier League sides to have made an enquiry for Yves Bissouma, but the Daily Star reports that Arsenal are growing confident of signing the midfielder this summer.

Bissouma has been a shining light in a difficult season for Brighton. He has established himself as one of the very finest midfielders amongst the bottom-half of the table.

And it seems that his performances are not going unnoticed. The Daily Star reports that Spurs are one of a number of teams who have enquired about the 24-year-old.

Everton and West Ham have also asked about the Mali international. However, they may all be set for disappointment.

The Daily Star reports that Arsenal are growing increasingly confident of landing Bissouma.

It is noted that the Gunners want the midfielder regardless of what the future holds for Mikel Arteta.

Meanwhile, Brighton are said to be happy to sell for around £30 million – double what they paid Lille for him in 2018.

It would be a fantastic statement of intent if Arsenal could indeed sign Bissouma ahead of the likes of Spurs, Everton and West Ham.

He appears to have a frightening amount of ability. And a potential £30 million fee could prove to be an absolute bargain – based on what he has shown this season.
