While it’s not been smooth sailing for Tottenham this season, Spurs certainly seem to be on the right track.

On Sunday, they finally ended their spell of alternating wins and losses by defeating West Ham 3-1.

In addition, January signings Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski have quickly become fan favourites.

Now, with the international break getting under way, Spurs will likely be taking stock of how they’ve fared up to now.

They’re likely also to cast an eye upon the summer transfer window in terms of potential targets.

One player that has been heavily linked with Tottenham in recent months is Paulo Dybala.

The Juventus star is out of contract in Turin in the summer and his club have offered him a new deal.

However, Sport reports that the 28-year-old has informed the Serie A giants he wants a new challenge.

Now, Corriere dello Sport has elaborated on what the future could hold for Dybala.

The Italian outlet claims Tottenham are still interested in the Argentine following links in 2019.

Indeed, Spurs are reportedly keener than ever now Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici are at N17.

The Tottenham boss has always liked Dybala.

However, Spurs’ north London rivals Arsenal ‘are making moves’ for La Joya as well.

In addition, Dybala is now reportedly open to a Premier League move.

In the past, he ‘never considered England as a first choice’.

At the same time, both Tottenham and Arsenal may have to vie with Atletico Madrid for Dybala’s signature.

Could Spurs sign “complete player” in summer?

Dybala – who can play in attacking midfield and up front – would be a major coup for both Tottenham and Arsenal.

Out of all the players whose contracts will soon run out, the £222,000-a-week is amongst the very best out there.

In 283 appearances for Juve, Dybala has registered 113 goals and 48 assists. He has also captained the team on several occasions.

Dybala’s CV is also very impressive – five Scudettos, four Italian Cups and three Italian Super Cups.

“I feel he has become a complete player,” Alessandro Del Piero said in 2020.

And Massimiliano Allegri, upon returning to Juve, said: “Only Messi and Cristiano are better than Dybala. He has the quality to win the Ballon d’Or.”
