Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified Aaron Ramsdale as a summer transfer target in case Bournemouth are relegated from the Premier League, according to the Daily Mail.
Ramsdale has enjoyed a superb maiden season in the Cherries first team, making 36 appearances, and his heroics have helped Eddie Howe’s side take their relegation battle to the final day.

It won’t be easy for Bournemouth, as they are three points behind Watford and Aston Villa, but with a goal difference equal to the Hornets and just one worse off than the Villans, it’s not impossible.
Spurs, meanwhile, are said to be after a goalkeeper to add competition to current first-choice Hugo Lloris, whose contract runs until the summer of 2022.
The Daily Mail believes that, should Bournemouth end up dropping into the Championship, they will look to swoop for the talented 22-year-old, while Watford’s Ben Foster and Fulham’s Marcus Bettinelli are also of interest.

Ramsdale’s stats may not make for great reading – 36 played, 61 conceded, five clean sheets – but given how poor Bournemouth have been all season, they would likely have succumbed to relegation by now were it not for his efforts.
At just 22 years of age, he has huge potential to become a star, particularly given goalkeepers tend not to peak until their late twenties, so he would be a great choice for the future at Spurs.
Shaka Hislop, who played 221 top-flight games during spells at the likes of Newcastle, Portsmouth and West Ham, hailed the Cherries stopper’s ability back in March.

“Ramsdale has been simply outstanding,” he told ESPN, as quoted by the Bournemouth Echo. “There is no other way to put it.
“Let’s just say somehow, they get everything sorted and Kepa moves on, Ramsdale comes in. I think he does a wonderful job for Chelsea.
“He has been outstanding for Bournemouth in a very difficult circumstance. As a young goalkeeper, you are looking for weaknesses in his game. I don’t think he has an awful lot.
“He is a solid shot stopper. He always looks composed within the goal and has a real presence about him, which is not something I say about many goalkeepers easily. I have been impressed.”
