Spurs are reportedly closing in on the appointment of Chris Perkins as their new head of emerging talent.
Tottenham have been restructuring their off-the-pitch staff at the club in recent months.
And according to football.london, they see Perkins as a key man for the future of the Spurs academy.

Perkins made a name for himself at Derby County, where he spent five years as head of academy recruitment.
A high percentage of the Rams’ first team players came through the club’s youth setup.
Perkins joined Everton in 2020, but football.london understands he is now on gardening leave until he departs the club.
He is reportedly set to join Tottenham, where he will work to bring the best young talent from the 17 to 21 age bracket into the club’s academy.
Spurs restructured the coaching side of their academy last year.
Dean Rastrick became academy manager following the departure of academy head John McDermott to the FA.
Chris Powell was appointed as head of coaching for the U17s to U23s, while Ryan Mason is head of player development for U17s to U23s.
Meanwhile, Wayne Burnett is U23s manager and Stuart Lewis was recently appointed as U18s manager.
