Spurs are keen on landing Zeki Celik as a summer replacement for Serge Aurier, according to French news outlet, Buzz Sport.
The 23-year-old Turkish international has apparently been watched by Jose Mourinho and his scouting team on a number of occasions this season.
Celik currently plies his trade over in France with Lille. He has become a regular, too, starting all but five of Lille’s games this season in Ligue 1.
However, that consistency seems to have attracted the attention of Mourinho. The Spurs boss is apparently desperate for new faces this summer and has identified right-back as an area for strengthening.
Serge Aurier is the man playing there at the moment but his discipline, or lack of, and inconsistent displays have convinced Mourinho to look elsewhere.
Who is Spurs target Zeki Celik?
Celik is a full Turkish international who has 14 caps to his name and two goals for his country.
He began his career with Bursaspor before moving to Istanbulspor. From there, he got his big break with a move to Lille in 2018, where he has since flourished.
Previously linked with AC Milan, it seems inevitable that Zelik will get a move away from Lille at some point.

There’s little doubt that Mourinho is doing the right thing looking for a new right-back. Aurier just cannot be trusted sometimes and it’s hard to see him staying put beyond this season.
At a reported €25-30m, Zelik is well in the price bracket of players Spurs can have a look at.
He’s a typical modern-day full-back, too. Quick and with a keen eye on getting forward, he’d appear to be ready-made for the Premier League.
It’s certainly set to be an interesting summer at Spurs and the addition of Zelik would kick things off nicely for them.
