Reported Tottenham Hotspur target Ivan Perisic could be sold for less than £11million in January, according to Calciomercato.

The 31-year-old has failed to make much of an impact at Inter this season, Antonio Conte deploying him in several positions on the pitch, but to little avail.

Perisic enjoyed a fruitful loan stint at Bayern Munich last term, claiming eight goals and 10 assists in 35 appearances en route to a Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and Champions League treble.

Conte opted to give the Croatia international another chance at Inter this season, trying him out on the left flank, in attacking midfield, as a second striker and as a centre-forward.

However, Perisic has failed to impress and, a result, the Nerazzurri hierarchy will reportedly be listening to offers for a player for whom an £11million offer from Bayern was apparently rejected in the summer.

Inter were reportedly holding out for at least £13.6million, but Calciomercato now claims that they’d be happy with a similar offer to that previously made by the Bavarians, particularly given Perisic’s contract expires in June 2022.

The outlet adds that a salary estimated in the region of £70,000-a-week hasn’t put off Jose Mourinho’s Spurs, as well as Manchester United, from making enquiries.

Jose Mourinho is a big fan of Perisic – he told RT during the 2018 World Cup, as quoted by Manchester Evening News: “Perisic… I don’t know why he didn’t come to Manchester (United) when I wanted him.”

While it’s not worked out for him at Inter, he shone for Bayern last season and helped Croatia get to the World Cup final two years ago, so despite his age, he’s got plenty to offer Spurs – and if the report is true, he wouldn’t break the bank either.
