According to a report from 90Min, Spurs have now joined the race to sign Besiktas forware, Cyle Larin, who has just over 12 months to run on his deal.
Larin has long been touted for a move to the Premier League. The likes of Everton and West Ham are also keen on the Canadian striker, while interest from Europe is also said to be there.
However, 90Min claims that Spurs have now entered the fray. It comes as the club, once again, seeks an ideal back up for Harry Kane. The experiment with Carlos Vincius has not quite worked and he is set to leave this summer.

Larin, 26, has had an impressive season over in Turkey this year. He’s hit 19 goals, and his ability to play through the middle and out wide is said to have caught the eye of onlooking clubs.
The Canadian striker could be available at a bargain price too. Reports from Fotomac last month suggested Besiktas may accept less than £9m for their star man.
TBR View: Larin a good option for anyone, it makes sense Spurs are involved
For the price, Cyle Larin is about as good as anyone you will see on the market this summer. He’s had his big breakout season now and is obviously looking at that next big step.
The Canadian has all the attributes to do well in England. He’s quick, strong, direct when he needs to be, and clearly has an eye for a goal.
If Spurs can land him that less than that £9m mentioned, then they’d have quite the bargain on their hands.
