According to Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb, Spurs have now joined the race to try and sign former Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey this summer.

The Welsh midfielder is said to be on a list of players that Juventus are open to selling in the summer window. The Turin giants are keen to offload a few contracts, with the hope of them being able to tie down the likes of Dybala and Ronaldo on further deals.

Ramsey has drifted in and out of the team ever since he arrived in Italy. He signed a mega-money deal with Juve after leaving Arsenal and, according to reports, earns around £225k-a-week in Turin.

Spurs are said to be among a number of English teams including Everton and West Ham to have an eye on Ramsey. The former Gunner has over 60 caps for Wales and is a proven commodity in the Premier League.

Jose Mourinho is set to keep his job at Spurs for now but will no doubt want some reinforcements this summer. With the likes of Dele Alli, Gareth Bale, and Erik Lamela all facing uncertain futures, Ramsey could well prove a good option.

There’s no way Spurs are going to pay Ramsey more than what they shell out for the likes of Harry Kane and Heung Min Son, it’s just not going to happen.

But Ramsey would be a good addition, if he can bring himself to cross the north London divide.

He brings goals, assists, and a knowledge of the Premier League, something Mourinho would love to add to his team.
