Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring Celtic midfielder Ismaila Soro, with the Daily Mail reporting that Spurs are set to be working with a restricted budget this summer.
Soro endured a tricky time following his move to Parkhead. However, he has been given the chance to show a lot more promise during his first full season with the Hoops.

The 22-year-old has made 17 appearances in the Scottish Premiership, while he has also played three times in the Europa League.
His form at one stage left many Celtic fans imploring former boss Neil Lennon to play him ahead of club legend Scott Brown in midfield.

And it appears that his progress is not escaping the attention of other clubs.
According to the Daily Mail, Spurs are tracking the Ivorian. It is noted that the Carabao Cup finalists are preparing to work with a limited budget during the coming months.
Of course, there surely has to be a large question mark hanging over whether Spurs decide to make a move.
Daniel Levy is currently searching for Tottenham’s next manager. So much will surely depend on who comes in.
The Daily Mail also notes that Soro getting a work permit to play in the Premier League may not be easy either.
TBR View: Soro a left-field target for Tottenham
It would be no surprise if many Spurs fans felt underwhelmed by the links with Soro. On paper, it is not particularly encouraging to be after a player who cannot hold down a place in the current Celtic team.
However, many Hoops fans seem to have been left baffled by how little Soro has played – particularly since he got a run in the team from mid-December.
He looks to have an enormous amount of potential. And it would not be a shock if he took on a prominent role as soon as Celtic’s next manager comes in – should he stay.
A number of Celtic players have proved to be outstanding additions for Premier League clubs in recent years.
So, while Soro seems a left-field target, perhaps Tottenham have made an inspired decision putting him on their radar.
