Tottenham could be handed a major boost, with The Telegraph claiming that Harry Kane may face just a few weeks on the sidelines with an ankle injury.
The Spurs talisman left the game against Liverpool injured in midweek, with Jose Mourinho confirming after the game that Kane had potential problems in both ankles.

However, unlike previous injuries in the same area, The Telegraph claims that Kane could be set for a quicker recovery than the previous ankle problems he’s suffered.
Kane has a history of picking up ankle knocks. But, on the flipside, the Spurs star is also known to be a quick healer and has come back sooner than expected on more than one occasion.

Spurs, then, face an anxious wait over the weekend before finding out the extent. It’s claimed the club are waiting for swelling to go down on Kane’s ankle, before being able to make a full assessment.
TBR View: Huge boost this with Kane, Spurs will keep fingers crossed
Spurs will be hoping history repeats itself here and that Kane has actually only picked up a knock to keep himself out for a few weeks.
The report claims that is the best case scenario for Jose Mourinho and Kane. The Spurs boss, of course, will be hoping that best case scenario comes to be true in the coming days.
Kane is so, so crucial. If he’s out, then Spurs can be more or less counted out of challenging for the title and potentially, the top four.
