Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly hoping that Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg can go on to represent a new era for the club after making a huge impression at Spurs.
The Dane joined Tottenham in August for a reported £15million on a five-year contract said to be worth around £100,000-a-week, and has quickly become one of Jose Mourinho’s main men.
To date, Hojbjerg has made 26 appearances for Spurs, his battling, intelligent performances in the centre of the park something the North Londoners have needed for some time.

The 25-year-old has also impressed off the pitch with his attitude and professionalism, earning plaudits for his classy message of support to Brentford’s Josh Dasilva after their League Cup clash.
According to football.london, it was a message that would come as no shock to anyone within Tottenham.
Hojbjerg has apparently made a huge impression inside the club since arriving with his whole ethos and the way he operates in training as well as in matches.
Deemed “Mourinho’s embodiment on the pitch”, Spurs will hope he represents a new era at the club, added Alasdair Gold.
TBR View:
Hojbjerg has proven to be a superb signing for Spurs, his efforts contributing to the North Londoners flying high in the Premier League table, reaching the League Cup final, and making the last 32 of the Europa League.
His arrival from Southampton may not have been met with the type of fanfare that greeted, say Gareth Bale, but he has gone about his business amazingly and is now a bona fide fan favourite who’ll hopefully be a key player for Spurs for years to come.
