Harry Winks could be offered the chance to remain in the Premier League in January, with The Sun reporting that a number of Tottenham Hotspur’s rivals are monitoring his situation.
Winks’s future with Spurs looks uncertain. He has played more of a peripheral role for Jose Mourinho’s men so far this season.

The Sun reports that he could now consider a move away in January. It is noted that he is looking to secure the game-time that will boost his hopes of going to Euro 2020 with England.
And according to The Sun, a number of Premier League sides want the 24-year-old.

It is however, stated that Tottenham could prefer to loan him out to a club abroad. Clubs in Spain and Italy both reportedly want the midfielder.
TBR View: Joining Premier League rival gives Winks best chance of proving point to Spurs
Of course, much may depend on what club Winks may join in January. But heading to a Premier League rival surely represents the best way for the academy graduate to stay on the radar.
It would be easier to make comparisons between his performances and those of his teammates rivalling him for a chance in Mourinho’s side.
If he goes and shines against a side Tottenham struggled with, for example, that will certainly boost his chances of returning to the fold upon his return.
First and foremost, it has to be the right club. Winks – who earns £50,000-a-week, according to Spotrac – is at a crucial stage of his career. Potential has to now be realised.
But perhaps it would still be fair to say that staying in England may give Winks the best opportunity to prove what Tottenham would lose if he left permanently further down the line.
