Spurs will face a tough fight this summer if they want to sign Gabriel Menino, with Juventus, Chelsea, and Atletico Madrid all said to be interested.
That’s according to Calciomercato, who claim a number of European giants are watching the Brazilian.
Menino, currently playing for Palmeiras, is said to be one of a number of South American stars looking to make the jump to Europe this summer. He is said to have a release-clause of around £50m, but Mundo Deportivo reported back in March that he could be available for a fraction of that fee.

Spurs are said to be leading the race in terms of English interest. However, Chelsea are also keen, while Juventus and Atletico Madrid are also said to have made their presence known of late.
Menino, 20, has already been called up to the senior Brazil squad and is widely expected to cement a place as a regular for the Samba stars in the future. It is little wonder, then, that Spurs and others are so keen on the midfielder.
TBR View: Menino a star of the future who could thive at Spurs
Of course, a lot will depend on who the manager is at Spurs. But looking purely from a footballing talent perspective, Menino seems to have everything you want from a young midfielder.
He will want to follow in the footsteps of so many Brazilians who have done well in Europe. And if the fee is to be believed, then he could well prove a massive bargain for whoever wins the race.
