Tottenham Hotspur could soon be forced into a decision regarding their interest in Mike Maignan, with France Football reporting that Borussia Dortmund are prepared to meet his £21.3 million asking price.
Spurs are reportedly interested in Maignan as a replacement for Hugo Lloris. Lloris has struggled to silence his doubters over the last couple of years.

And according to France Football, his countryman is on their radar. But they also face plenty of competition.
The report notes that AC Milan are admirers. And France Football are also reporting that Dortmund have joined the race.
In fact, it is claimed that the Bundesliga side are ready to meet his asking price of €25 million.

Dortmund’s two goalkeepers have not endured the best campaign, making a number of mistakes.
And with Marco Rose coming in at the Westfalenstadion at the end of the season, it appears that they are hoping to upgrade their options this summer.
TBR View: Spurs need a new goalkeeper – whether that’s Maignan or another target
It feels imperative that Tottenham sign a new goalkeeper this summer. And they need to make a signing with a view to landing a player who can enjoy the same longevity Lloris has had.
Maignan is the same age Lloris was when he joined. And he is playing regularly at a good level, so he would certainly be a very good option.
If Dortmund, or Milan, win the race however, Spurs need to make sure that they are prepared to look elsewhere.
Lloris has been an incredible servant, but he is arguably no longer at the level Tottenham need him to be.
