Report: Spurs eyeing 48-year-old sporting director who's leaving his club this summer
Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly rekindled their interest in Fabio Paratici, according to Tuttosport.
Spurs are currently on the lookout for a new manager, but judging by the above report, they could well be looking for new boardroom additions too.
Paratici is set to leave Juventus following 11 years at the Serie A club, as his contract won’t be renewed in the summer.
Tuttosport has tipped Federico Cherubini, Paratici’s right-hand man, to take his place at Juve.
The outlet then claims that Spurs are “thinking about” snapping up Paratici.
Tottenham have reportedly had an interest in the 48-year-old back in 2018, according to Calciomercato.
Indeed, Levy is apparently a big-time admirer of Paratici.
However, the Bianconeri – at the time on a trophy-winning streak – weren’t willing to do business back then.
Juve fans have differing opinions of Paratici, with some loving his work over the past decade and others not happy with how the squad looks now.
Although his final season may have not been great in terms of recruitment, people can’t understate his role in bringing 19 trophies to Turin in 11 years, as well as in signing Cristiano Ronaldo.
