According to a report from The Express today, Manchester United could include David De Gea in any bid to try and sign Harry Kane this summer.
The Express claims that United could look to a number of players as potential swaps as they look to sign Kane. Among them is Spanish stopper De Gea, who has now lost his place to Dean Henderson at Old Trafford.
De Gea, still only 30, would represent an interesting option for Spurs. The club are on the lookout for a replacement for Hugo Lloris, who is likely to only play one more season at the most in north London.

Other players mentioned are Jesse Lingard, who has shone at West Ham, and Anthony Martial, who is still struggling for consistency.
United are said to be one of the clubs keen on Kane and one of the clubs who can put together a deal to afford him. For Spurs, it will come down to money and the best deal available for Daniel Levy, should he decide to sell his star man.
TBR View: De Gea a good stopper but surely Spurs need maximum money for Kane?
There’s nothing wrong with Spurs getting someone like De Gea but he’s probably past his best, which would worry Spurs fans.
Surely as a club they need to be looking at getting the maximum cash for Kane, then reinvesting on players they know they want.
Lingard, arguably, would be a more enticing option in any swap deal. The midfielder has been exceptional with West Ham, so would improve the Spurs squad. De Dea, meanwhile, has struggled for a while and would have little to no re-sale value either.
