Spurs are battling Aston Villa and Rangers for Caleb Chukwuemeka, according to a report from the Sunday Mirror (15/8; page 73).
The Mirror describes the 19-year-old as the most wanted teenager in League Two.

He featured 22 times in the tier above last season. He is actually yet to play this term, having been an unused substitute for Northampton Town’s last two games.
Nevertheless, he is being chased by a number of top-flight sides.
According to The Sunday Mirror (15/8; page 73), Tottenham want Chukwuemeka. But they face a battle with Rangers and Villa.

Villa, of course, have his brother Carney on their books. The 17-year-old was on the bench for their Premier League opener with Watford on Saturday.
His older sibling’s deal expires next summer. So perhaps it would be fair to assume that a move could take place sooner or later.
Rangers may fancy their chances of beating Spurs and Villa to Chukwuemeka deal
Villa must be favourites to sign the teenager given that his brother is already at Villa Park.
Spurs meanwhile, also have a number of talented players coming through. And joining that crop must be tempting for the forward.
But ruling Rangers out would perhaps be foolish. Gerrard’s men would potentially be able to discuss a pre-contract deal in January.
And they would not need to pay the same amount as his English admirers, so they may be prepared to put a more lucrative contract on the table.
