Both Arsenal and Spurs have been offered the chance to sign Barcelona goalkeeper Neto this summer, according to Duncan Castles.
The Brazilian goalkeeper is firmly down the pecking order at the Camp Nou but is seen as an experienced head regardless. Neto was the number one stopper for both Fiorentina and Valencia, but has simply not got going for Barcelona.
And with the Catalan club looking to seriously reduce costs this summer, Neto has apparently been offered to both Arsenal and Spurs.

Duncan Castles confirmed the news, speaking on the Transfer Window podcast this weekend on YouTube. It was suggested that Neto’s agent Kia Joorabchian has been in touch with the North London duo.
A deal with Arsenal would seem more likely, however. Spurs already have Hugo Lloris and new signing Pierluigi Gollini on the books.
Arsenal, though, are looking for a goalkeeper. They’re said to be willing to spend big on Aaron Ramsdale, while Sam Johnstone has also been linked.
Neto the ideal stop gap for Arsenal?
There’s simply no point in Spurs signing Neto at all. But with Arsenal, it’s a completely different matter.
Time is ticking in their pursuit of a new goalkeeper. And while Mikel Arteta does want a new stopper who can stay for years, someone like Neto wouldn’t be a bad number two. After all, he is used to playing that role.
Neto has experience, games in the tank, and at 32, still has plenty to give in his career as a goalkeeper. If Arsenal do struggle to get the Ramsdale deal done, then they could do far worse than land Neto.
