According to Football.London journalist Alasdair Gold, Spurs do hold an interest in Fiorentina defender, Nikola Milenkovic.
Milenkovic has been a name linked with Spurs for some time now. Under Jose Mourinho, the young defender was mentioned more than once as the then-Spurs coach searched for a new defensive stalwart.
Indeed, as recent as April, talk has continued over Milenkovic’s future. The Sun claimed that Fiorentina wanted around £38m for the 23-year-old, who is also attracting attention from the likes of Manchester United.

Spurs are still to appoint a new manager, though. And in the report, Gold says that could be crucial in terms of Spurs making their move for Milenkovic more concrete.
The report also states that, for now anyway, that Sven Botman is not a target for the club. Botman had been linked with both Spurs and Liverpool previously, however, that interest seems to have cooled for now.
TBR View: Milenkovic a top player and one who Spurs would surely welcome
And that’s regardless of who the manager might be in north London. Milenkovic is a top young defender who has already got enough experience in the tank as well.
Spurs need to ensure this summer they get things right and signing someone like Milenkovic would be quite the boost.
The defender is as class act, in fairness. Fiorentina have seen the best of their man in recent seasons and while £38m might seem a lot of money on paper, in the long-term it could prove a shrewd capture.
