Real Betis are to consider a move for Liverpool star Divock Origi.
That’s according to Estadio Deportivo, who claim the Belgian striker is an option for the Spanish side with a year remaining on his current contract at Anfield.
Origi is seen in a new light these days by many Liverpool supporters having made some crucial contributions in 2018/19.

The former Lille man scored some vital late goals in the Premier League against Everton and Newcastle.
And of course, he scored Liverpool’s fourth against Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final second leg, and the second against Tottenham Hotspur in the final earlier this month.
His heroics have led to speculation (The Express) he could get a contract extension, but with Betis interested it will be interesting to see if that comes to fruition.
TBR’s view
Origi came in extremely handy for Jurgen Klopp last season and probably ‘deserves’ a new deal.
That said, Origi remains some way behind the likes of Roberto Firmino, Mo Salah and Sadio Mane in terms of quality.
It is the club’s last chance to get decent money for the 24-year-old and if they don’t want to extend his contract, then they should enter negotiations with Betis.

On a personal level, Origi – who earns £45,000-a-week (Spotrac) – needs to be playing regularly.
He has earned hero status in the eyes of Liverpool fans for his contributions in 2018/19, and perhaps he should consider leaving on a high.
