Tottenham Hotspur’s forgotten man Vincent Janssen is still attracting interest ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to Calciomercato, Real Betis will rekindle their January interest in Janssen when the summer window opens.
Janssen has not played a single game for Tottenham this season and has been an undoubted flop since his £17m (ITV) move from AZ Alkmaar in 2016.
In three seasons, the 17-cap Netherlands international has played just 39 times for Spurs, scoring six goals.
Janssen spent last season on loan at Fenerbahce, scoring five times in 18 games, but he has not played a minute of senior football this season.
But despite his lack of game time, Spanish side Real Betis could still launch a summer move for the striker.
Real Betis currently sit ninth in La Liga and they are still in contention for a Europa League qualifying spot.
But looking ahead to next season, Janssen has been identified as a striker target for Real Betis.
The 24-year-old scored 27 goals in 34 Eredivisie games in the 2015/16 season which convinced Spurs to take a punt on him. And Real Betis will be hoping he can rediscover that form.
Tottenham will almost certainly let Janssen leave as Mauricio Pochettino has frozen him out. Spurs should instead be looking for a new striker to compete with Harry Kane.
