German website Deich Stube have claimed that Southampton are one of a number of clubs interested in signing Lech Poznan winger Kamil Jozwiak this summer – but could fave competition from Manchester United.
Jozwiak, 22, enjoyed an excellent 2019-20 campaign which even saw him earn his first Poland cap. The right-footed left-winger had a hand in 16 goals last term, scoring nine times and creating seven.
He even captained his side during the last three league games of the season and while he has two years remaining on his contract, it is believed the Polish ace will be on the move this summer. Southampton are keen.
Werder Bremen are leading the charge, while Galatasaray are said to have had a £1.8million offer rejected. Manchester United have sent a scout over, and Hertha Berlin, Augsburg and Freiburg are also keeping tabs.
TBR’s view – Jozwiak could be an excellent signing
Given the amount of interest in Jozwiak, it is clear he is a player with potential. Already boasting a senior cap for his country, given the armband in a strong Poznan side, and shining in an improving Polish league, Jozwiak is a talent.
Though Gala had a bid rejected of £1.8million, it is likely that he will hardly cost more. Southampton could also be boosted in agent terms, with TransferMarkt claiming that he is represented by the same agent as Jan Bednarek.
