Southampton are reportedly poised to make an opening offer for Brest midfielder Ibrahima Diallo.
According to L’Equipe, the Saints are preparing to test the Ligue 1 side’s resolve over the 21-year-old, who has made a big impression at the club since making his debut in August 2018.
Southampton are turning to Diallo, after Ibrahim Sangare sealed a move from Toulouse to PSV Eindhoven.

Diallo has an agreement with his club to leave this transfer window, and GFFN add that an offer of €15 million/£13.7 million plus bonuses could be enough to seal the deal.
At the moment Southampton have just made an initial enquiry, but they are ready to make their offer ‘imminently’.
The Saints of course need a replacement for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who joined Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the window.
