Southampton are said to be in the running for Celtic defender Kristoffer Ajer, with Neil Lennon said to be willing to let the centre-back leave this summer.
That is according to a report from The Express, who claim that the Saints are chasing his signature, with Premier League rivals West Ham and West Brom also keen.
The fee involved would be in the region of £20 million, for a player whose future no longer appears to be at Parkhead.

Celtic boss Lennon confirmed that players who did not want to be at the club could leave after their recent Champions League humbling by Ferencvaros, with Ajer one of those it was believed he was discussing.
Since that defeat, Sky Sports have reported that Ajer’s representatives have reached out to Celtic to find out their asking price for the player, as they seek to find him another club.
Southampton making a move for a hotly tipped Celtic defender will no doubt conjure up comparisons with the club’s move for Virgil van Dijk, a player Ajer has been compared to in the past.
Southampton fans will no doubt be hoping he does end up emulating Van Dijk and becoming a world-class defender at St Mary’s should he make the move to the South Coast.
