Southampton are reportedly interested in a move for attacker Jordan Ayew from Championship club Swansea City.
According to the Sun, the Saints are lining up a summer move for him and could land him for a bargain price.
It is understood that Swansea want to get him off their payroll, after he spent the 2018/19 season out on loan with Crystal Palace.
The report details that Southampton are leading the race for Ayew’s signature, but Palace could be tempted by having him for another season.
It’s also believed that Swansea are also likely to get back most of the £5million they paid for him back in 2017 to sign from Aston Villa.

TBR’s View:
Southampton need some strong reinforcements in the summer if they are to avoid a relegation battle, but Ayew is not the type of signing that will massively improve Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side.
The 27-year-old would be a low risk signing at around just £5million, but that doesn’t mean they should bring him to St Mary’s.
He’s just completed a season-long loan with Palace in the top flight, where he struggled to make a serious impact.
The 48-time capped Ghana international made 25 appearances across all competitions for Palace and scored just two goals in return.
Ayew is a versatile attacker that can play as a winger or a centre-forward, but failed to make a serious impact in the Premier League over the last year.
