After the tense transfer saga involving Adama Traore and Tottenham, the Birmingham Mail have shared an update on how he feels at Wolves.

What’s the story?

Well, the 25-year-old was the subject of a £30m bid from Tottenham on the day before the transfer window ended, according to The Athletic (22:07).

Wolves rejected the offer, and Spurs never came back on deadline day with an improved bid for the 7-cap Spain international.

Nuno Espirito Santo was clearly keen to reunite with his former No.37.

However, the Birmingham Mail outline how Jeff Shi recognised the fury selling Traore so late in the window would cause, without signing a replacement.

Now, the Birmingham Mail believe the forward is enjoying life under Bruno Lage at Molineux, despite failing to secure a move to north London.

Should Tottenham submit another offer to Wolves for Adama Traore?

In our view, Tottenham shouldn’t go back in for the Spaniard.

Admittedly, he is arguably the best dribbler in world football, and nobody can carry the ball up the pitch as effectively as he can.

However, his end product is highly questionable, and isn’t really worth the £50m Wolves are asking for.

In 143 Premier League appearances, Traore has only scored seven goals, which is quite alarming.

Furthermore, bringing Traore to N17 would potentially block Bryan Gil’s chances of first-team football.

The Spaniard – who has been likened to Neymar – is a huge talent, who could quite easily match Traore’s Premier League goalscoring record this season alone, in our view.

If we were in Nuno’s shoes, we’d definitely put an end to our pursuit of the ex-Barcelona man.
