Tottenham may well move for Christian Eriksen in the January transfer window, with the Athletic reporting there is a ‘small possibility’ of a deal happening.
The Danish midfielder has endured a miserable time of things over in Italy with Inter Milan and looks set to see his spell with the club come to an end without ever getting going in Serie A.

Spurs have been linked with a move to bring Eriksen back to the club a number of times, with Jose Mourinho apparently being keen to see a loan move potentially work out.
And The Athletic now claims that while unlikely, there is a small possibility that Spurs could move for Eriksen, especially if Dele Alli is moved out of the club.

Alli is down the pecking order under Jose Mourinho and he could see his £100k-a-week wages (Spotrac) off the books soon. Former Spurs boss, Mauricio Pochettino, is thought to be keen on taking him to PSG.
A risky move, Eriksen has struggled massively – TBR View
To say Eriksen has gone off the boil since leaving Spurs would be an understatement. He looks a shadow of the player he was with Spurs before and it would be a risk to bring him back.
His record is good. You don’t have over 100 caps for Denmark and 36 goals without being a world class player on your day.
However, this remains a tricky one for Spurs and Mourinho to consider and one they should approach with caution.
