A report by the Athletic has claimed that Newcastle manager Eddie Howe is unanimously loved by Magpies insiders.
It has been a year since the takeover which has taken the club to another level and the new regime’s first act was to replace Steve Bruce with Howe.
Instantly, an approach of just ticking by was replaced by an ambition to play attractive football and chase the cup competitions.
The longer term plan has to include European football and it is Howe’s desire and vision which is driving the club towards that.

Howe loved by Newcastle insiders
The report says that nobody has been more important than Howe when it comes to pushing Newcastle on from where they were.
Insiders quoted in the article hail Howe’s ‘mentality’ and desire to install a winning culture, which is resulting in what we see from Newcastle now.
He signed a new contract in August and that helped reassure him that he could relocate his family to the north east, having been settled in the south coast.
It is also designed to pre-emptively strike in case England are looking for a new manager in the not too distant future and turn their attention to Howe.
Howe thinks he has his best years ahead of him and the club think he can keep taking them through the levels to where they want to go.
“We love him,” a senior Newcastle source interviewed for the piece says. “He’s a marvel,” which sums up the strength of feeling for Howe on Tyneside right now.
