Shkodran Mustafi’s representatives are pushing for a meeting with those at Arsenal, according to a report from the Daily Mirror, with the centre-back unlikely to stay at the Emirates beyond January.
Mustafi’s future has looked to have a major question mark hanging over it for some time. The centre-back did not make his first Premier League appearance of the season until December. And he is yet to start any of Mikel Arteta’s first three games in charge.

The Daily Mirror reports that Calum Chambers sustaining a long-term injury had made Mustafi staying initially look more likely. But it is now suggested that a move could still be on the cards.
According to the Mirror, the £35 million man has changed agents. And they are now targeting a meeting with the club about his lack of game-time. It is suggested by the Mirror that it is unlikely that the Germany international will be staying beyond January.

TBR View – Arsenal should welcome Mustafi departure
Losing another centre-back could be seen as a blow for the Gunners. But Mustafi is one player that Arteta should be open to selling this month.
The 27-year-old has been a poor signing, and it would be a gamble to put too much faith in him while Chambers is out.
They will surely have to be prepared to take a big financial hit. But it is also difficult to imagine Mustafi’s value climbing anytime soon.
Selling him this month looks to be best for all parties.
