Sheffield Wednesday have offered to cover £25,000-a-week of Kenneth Zohore’s wages as they look to sign the West Bromwich Albion striker on loan, according to a report from The Sun on Sunday (27/9; page 61).
Zohore is yet to make an appearance for the Baggies this term. And it would be little surprise to see Slaven Bilic move the Dane on before the transfer window closes.

He has struggled following his £8 million move to the Hawthorns (fee reported by the Daily Mail).
Nevertheless, Garry Monk is seemingly keen to bring the 26-year-old to Hillsborough.

The Sun on Sunday (27/9; page 61) reports that they have bid to take Zohore on loan. However, their offer would see the Owls cover less than half of Zohore’s wages.
It is noted that Wednesday hope that West Brom will accept their bid due to the lack of interest from elsewhere.
TBR View: West Brom should be open to accepting bid
It is not ideal for West Brom to loan Zohore out. If he is not going to play, a permanent sale would be most beneficial with Bilic likely to have his own targets in mind.
But offloading some of his wages will still help. Freeing up some space on the wage bill could be important as the Baggies potentially look to finish the window on a high.
