Rangers winger Jordan Jones is on Sheffield United’s radar as the January transfer window begins to really get going, according to a report from the Daily Mail.
Jones has had a difficult time since arriving at Ibrox in the summer. His early form suggested that he could prove to be an inspired signing for the Gers.

Unfortunately however, he has not played for Steven Gerrard’s side since early September. He was sent off for a challenge in the defeat to Celtic. And the challenge itself led to an injury that has ruled him out since.
He looks to be edging closer to a return. But it appears that one Premier League side would be interested in signing him before he appears for the Light Blues again.

The Daily Mail reports that the Blades are monitoring the Northern Ireland international.
TBR View – Ibrox exit would be big surprise
It would be a big surprise if Jones did leave Rangers this month. It will be interesting to see whether Gerrard is open to loaning Jones out. But it would surely take something special to persuade the title-chasers to consider a permanent sale.
Despite his struggles, it is clear that he has enormous quality. And his return looks to be a real boost for Rangers as they look to beat Celtic to the Scottish Premiership crown.
And Rangers will hope that he produces the kind of performances during the coming months that prompt other Premier League sides to take note.
