Harry Kane will not be in Tottenham Hotspur training again today, the Athletic report.

Staying away

Kane missed Tottenham training yesterday, as he looks to push through a move to Manchester City.

And the Athletic now say that Kane is not planning to return to Spurs training again until his move is granted.

The development is sure to add further criticism of Kane from Tottenham fans.

Souring the relationship

The England captain has risked his relationship with supporters of the North London club to try and force a move.

But Tottenham are still not under significant financial pressure to sell him.

Kane has three years left on his deal and the latest update suggests that Spurs don’t want to offload him to a Premier League club, despite City being the side pushing hardest to sign him.

Kane has apparently spoken with a senior City player and communicated his desire to leave Tottenham to move to the Etihad Stadium.

But even with Kane planning a stay of absence away from Tottenham’s training ground that move looks far from certain to happen.

Kane’s departure from Tottenham would obviously be a huge blow to Nuno’s side, as he is their star turn.

However, his latest actions are causing plenty of turbulence around the club.

And it will be interesting to see how both Nuno and Daniel Levy react to Kane’s current stance in the coming weeks.
