Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa is said to have spent a little time house-hunting earlier this year as he closes in on a new deal, according to a report from The Athletic.
Bielsa’s future at Elland Road technically remains up in the air. He is yet to officially confirm that he will still be in charge next season.

However, there appears to be little reason for concern. It is seemingly not uncommon for Bielsa to put talk of his future to the back of his mind.
And it appears that everything is virtually in place anyway. According to The Athletic, only the finer details need to be ironed out before he signs a 12-month extension.
Of course, supporters are used to Bielsa not looking beyond that season when it comes to his future. But perhaps there is the slightest hint that he may be allowing himself to think a little more long-term.

It is widely known that he lives in a flat above a sweet shop in Wetherby. His accommodation is just one of the factors that adds to the mystique surrounding the Argentinian.
But interestingly, The Athletic reports that he is said to have done a little house-hunting in the spring.
Leeds fans will be delighted if report provides the smallest hint on Bielsa and his Elland Road future
If Bielsa is indeed looking for a new place, that would perhaps provide the smallest clue that he may be leaving his door open to stay much longer.
That would be a huge boost for Leeds. He has already secured legendary status at Elland Road. And there is a feeling that the Whites are yet to realise their full potential under Bielsa.
Of course, we are very much putting 2 and 2 together. But having spent three years in his flat in Wetherby, surely Bielsa would not be looking to move if he was confident that he was in the home straight for his tenure at Leeds.
