Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has told Barcelona that he would like to join the club, but the Arsenal striker has warned that he will not wait forever for the Catalan giants to make a move, according to a report from Spanish outlet Sport.
Aubameyang’s future at the Emirates looks to have a major question mark hanging over it. Sport reports that his Arsenal contract expires in 2021, and they have, so far, failed to agree fresh terms with the Gabon international.

And it appears that the 30-year-old would like to move to the Nou Camp in the near future.
However, Barca are still weighing up whether to meet Arsenal’s demands for the forward.
Sport reports that the Gunners want at least £50 million for Aubameyang, and Barcelona would be keen to sign him for a lower fee.

The report notes that Barca have concerns about his age, and have other options on their wishlist.
But in response, Aubameyang has informed the La Liga side that, while he is interested in joining, he will not hang around forever waiting for them to make their move.
TBR View – Further uncertainty does not help Arsenal
If there was not enough uncertainty around right now, Aubameyang’s situation has ensured that Arsenal have a massive dilemma to contend with over the summer.
Mikel Arteta has got the club moving in the right direction. And Aubameyang has been central to that success. Losing him this summer would be a huge blow.
However, the Gunners will be wary of losing him on a free transfer in 2021. They could take the risk and hold onto him in the hope that next season’s performance does enough to convince the striker to stay.
But you could understand why they may be wary of losing him for nothing.
Arsenal now need to weigh up whether a fee of around £50 million this summer is going to do them more favours than another season with Aubameyang in their ranks.
His tally of 17 goals in 26 league games this term arguably suggests not.
