Tottenham Hotspur reportedly have no intention of moving for Nemanja Matic in January.
That’s according to Manchester Evening News, who state Jose Mourinho has no plans to sign a player he famously admires.
Mourinho signed the Serbia international during his second spell at Chelsea and for Manchester United, but it appears he will not be making it a hat-trick.

£120,000-a-week star Matic (Spotrac) is apparently likely to leave Old Trafford next month with the player open to a departure.
The 31-year-old has barely featured for United in 2019/20, with injury limiting him to just five appearances.
That said, before getting crocked, Matic was out of favour under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who has preferred the likes of Fred, Scott McTominay and Andreas Pereira in his midfield
TBR’s view – Spurs fans can breathe easy
Matic is simply way past his best years.

Plenty of Spurs fans were worried when speculation really began to pick up following Mourinho’s appointment.
Realistically there just isn’t need for Mourinho to come calling for Matic when he has Harry Winks, Moussa Sissoko, Tanguy Ndombele, Eric Dier and young Oliver Skipp.
Ultimately Mourinho has his Matic-type player in Dier, a man he previously tried to sign for United.
