Ryan Kent is happy to stay at Rangers this summer, according to a report from the Daily Record, amid rumours linking the winger with a move away from Ibrox.

The Sun reported on Wednesday that Leeds United were preparing a £10 million bid for the 23-year-old, who has scored two goals in the Gers’ opening four league games.

However, it appears that Leeds are set to have little success should they make such an offer.

The Daily Record notes that Rangers have little interest in selling Kent unless they are offered the chance to make a significant profit on the £7 million that they spent last year.

And the Record notes that Kent is happy to remain at Ibrox amid interest from Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

TBR View: Statement from Rangers should they keep Kent

It looks to be an exciting time to move to Elland Road. Bielsa’s men are gearing up for their return to the Premier League.

So it would arguably be a big statement from Rangers should they keep Kent. Many players will surely be tempted by the chance to join the Whites this summer.

Kent staying at Ibrox highlights his belief in Steven Gerrard’s plans. There is clearly progress being made. And Kent seemingly wants to stay for the duration.

And it will give everyone around the club a big lift should Rangers manage to hold onto the player who appears to be threatening to become their talisman at the start of this season.
