Roma are considering looking elsewhere after being told by Arsenal that they want around £23.1 million for Henrikh Mkhitaryan this summer, according to a report from Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport.
Mkhitaryan has spent the campaign on loan with the Giallorossi. He has made 13 Serie A appearances and scored six goals in the top flight. Meanwhile, he has also provided three assists despite only starting eight times in the league.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma are keen to extend the Armenia star’s stay beyond this season. But Arsenal’s demands have prompted the club to consider other options.
The report suggests that the Gunners want £23.1 million for the 31-year-old, who is out of contract at the Emirates in 2021.

It is noted that Roma are now looking at a move for Stephan El Shaarawy.
TBR View – Arsenal’s demands may drop further hint Arteta could include Mkhitaryan in plans
Arsenal are obviously right to try and get as much for Mkhitaryan as possible. However, some fans may deem it a mistake to price Roma out of a move.
But perhaps the Gunners’ demands could provide a further hint that he may end up with another chance in North London.
Mikel Arteta admitted this month that Mkhitaryan is a player he has always liked (via London Evening Standard). He also suggested that he could fit into any team when he is at his best.
So perhaps Arteta feel that there is an upside to not selling him this summer. And thus, he has no intention in letting him leave on the cheap.
