Report shares Juventus stance on Tottenham target Dejan Kulusevski
Juventus could reportedly consider letting Dejan Kulusevski leave in the January window – in news that will certainly attract the attention of Tottenham fans.
What’s the story?
Kulusevski’s future in Turin looks to be in some doubt. The 21-year-old has made seven appearances in Serie A this term. However, that only includes one start for the Old Lady.
His lack of game-time appears to have alerted Tottenham. The Daily Mirror reported last month that Fabio Paratici wants to bring the Swede to North London having signed him for Juve.
It does appear that Kulusevski is a huge prospect. He scored seven goals and contributed seven assists last season.
And plenty of Spurs fans seemed incredibly excited about the links. So many would deem it to be a huge coup to bring him to the club.
And with that, those associated with Tottenham may have expected to face an uphill battle to secure his signature.
But perhaps it may be easier than they would have imagined.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Juve could decide to let Kulusevski leave in January should he struggles for game-time continue.
It is even claimed that they could consider a loan deal. They are aware that his departure could raise considerable funds given that he arrived for a fee that could reach £37.4 million.
Tottenham must capitalise as Juventus consider Kulusevski sale
It is a surprise that Kulusevski has been used so sparingly this term. But Spurs will not mind at all if the youngster ends up being made available.
They must not hang around if the opportunity to sign the winger arises. There is likely to be plenty of interest in him.
It will certainly not go down well with a lot of Spurs fans if Kulusevski heads elsewhere.
