Aston Villa and Tottenham have both been active in this window already and there’s even been talk of business between them.
The Villans have managed to navigate their way through PSR challenges by signing and selling players and are now ready to go again in the summer window.
For Tottenham, it’s also been a busy period, with the club securing a return on loan for Timo Werner and a big money deal to sign Archie Gray from Leeds.
However, there was also interest from Tottenham in signing Villa’s young English midfielder, Jacob Ramsey.
Ramsey has become one of the star young players in England and the Premier League but Villa were apparently open to selling him before that PSR deadline, with Tottenham keen.
But now that June has passed, Villa still have Ramsey on their hands. And according to reports, things could now change.
Aston Villa don’t want to sell Jacob Ramsey to Tottenham
According to GiveMeSport, Tottenham supremo Johan Lange is the one pushing hardest in north London to bring Ramsey in.
However, it’s now claimed that with the PSR deadline passed and Ramsey still at Villa Park, that Villa themselves have had a change of heart on the youngster.

Villa are now open to keeping Ramsey and keeping him involved in the squad after the managed to get their way through that tricky period.
Unai Emery is a big fan of Ramsey and will see him as a key player as he takes Villa into the Champions League next season.
Emery, of course, is still wanting further players signed.
The Villans have already made big moves to sign the likes of Ian Maatsen, Samuel Illing-Junior, and Enzo Barrenechea.
Quite whether Villa will need to sell again to fund further buys, remains to be seen.
Like so many clubs, they are playing close to the line when it comes to potential fines and points deductions and any incomings and outgoings need to be well thought out by the board.
